It's hard to ignore the connections future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers has to the Tennessee Titans this offseason. Rodgers talked about how much he loves the state of Tennessee in an appearance on ESPN's "The Pat McAfee Show" in December.

Mike Borgonzi is off the market, and New York will need to continue to look for their top general manager candidate.

Tennessee has moved onto its second round of interviews while New York appears to still be unsure what they want in their next top executives.

Chiefs assistant GM Mike Borgonzi is set to take over the Titans’ front office, as NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero first reported. While ESPN’s Adam Schefter cautions a deal is not yet done, this news points toward Tennessee’s GM vacancy being filled with plenty of time left in the offseason.

The only other NFL team with a GM vacancy is the Las Vegas Raiders. It was reported on Tuesday that Las Vegas had requested to interview Sullivan, although no reports of a scheduled interview have been shared as of this writing. New York already completed an interview with Sullivan on Tuesday.

Borgonzi’s tenure in Kansas City predates head coach Andy Reid’s hire in KC following the 2012 season. He joined the Chiefs in 2009 as college scouting administrator under then-general manager Scott Pioli.
