The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as Diontranet Tinae Brown, 35, of Birmingham, and Tremayne Javahn Long, 37, of Bessemer. They are the fourth and fifth homicide victims in the city in seven days.

The Birmingham Police Department is investigating a shooting at 604 Bar and Lounge on 9th Street North. On arrival at the scene, BPD found a female victim shot. She was transported to UAB Hospital where she died from her injuries.
